Koo’s Art Center has a proven track record for producing and exhibiting quality visual and performing arts from emerging artists around the globe. Our specific emphasis is developing emerging art talent and providing a venue for local artists to showcase their work in the community.
Koo’s exhibits, educates and builds community in Long Beach by serving as a conduit for creative expression through the visual and performing arts, and providing a professional space for emerging and established artists. Both community art center and gallery, Koo’s recognizes the personal and cultural importance of all types of art. From gallery exhibitions by nationally-known artists to shows by community children, the center is making the arts available to all. Located in Long Beach since 2003, Koo’s plays an increasingly important role in the area by being a place where the community can participate in and experience art classes, socially conscious performing art, film classes, chamber music, experimental sound art, sculpture, and cutting edge visual art.
